Quicker Facebook and Twitter access on your phone
This streamlined Twitter client for Series 60 is lightweight and easy-to-use, allowing you to quickly check what the people you're following are doing, but also post your own tweets from wherever you may be.
As I said, Twittix is so simple to use. You just need to enter your username and password to sign in then, within a few seconds, your feed is displayed on screen, allowing you to see what everyone is doing. After reading a tweet you can choose to reply, retweet, forward via SMS, or set as favorite. All these options are available simply by clicking on the tweet.
Of course, Twittix also lets you post your own tweets, which you can do by selecting 'Create Tweet' from the 'Options' menu. The app also lets you add photos stored on your phone, automatically setting them to Twitpix format and uploading them.
The thing I love most about Twittix is the easy way it lets you navigate through the Timeline, @ messages, Favorites, Followers, Following, Everyone, and Search screens. All you need to do is hit the left and right directional buttons to flick through these various Twitter features. The fact that all these features are even included makes Twittix one of the most advanced mobile Twitter clients out there.
On the downside, Twittix is rather buggy at present. For instance, I found that the app sometimes crashed when trying to enter the figure '1', and another error occurred when I tried to reply @ someone. The program is in early release stage though, so hopefully these glitches will be ironed out in time.
Overall though, Twittix is a decent mobile Twitter client that manages to combine a handsome range of features into a slick and streamlined user interface.

Worse Twitter client to have on a phone. There are even free ones like Dabr that are 100x better than Twittix. Twittix loads slow and tweets are also sent very slowly. The words are so tiny that most of the users aren't capable of viewing without squinting or bringing the phone closer. For those who want a free Twitter client that does not require the assistance of an extra pair of glasses or don't have the patience to wait to load the feed, try Dabr. Not only is it free, it features some pretty neat content that you don't get on Twittix like the Twitpic loading on the timeline itself. The freedom to customize the skin of the client and much more. For a great paid one, try Gravity. It is still considerably the best Twitter client for touchscreen S60 phones with its kinetic scrolling.
Pros: View 'Followers' and 'Friends' in a photo collage. Options of sound, vibration or message notifications. Introduce twitterer feature. Retweet and reply. Search feature. Twitpic feature.
Cons: Slow loading time. Sometimes does not load at all. Bugged 'Direct Reply' button. Extremely tiny words. Unpleasing format. Not very user-friendly.
